Major Glitch with Rankings Fixed

As many of you have seen there was a major glitch with the Rankings System. It should be fixed.

More Updates!

I've been able to keep moving forward with RuneMonkey although the going has been slow.
Here are some of the recent updates in the last several weeks in case you might not have
seen them yet as well as a couple of things that are coming.
- Individual High Scores is now working. There was a recent bug in into until
today that affected some peope by showing they total xp instead of just their
24-hour best.
- All Time High Scores automatically update now instead of me having to manually
go in and do it as often as I remembered
- I almost have a new feature built that shows how you rank daily against the average
of all other Rune Monkey members combined. Not sure what to call it yet but this will be
different than the Daily
Skills Rank as it will show you against the average
- I'm still hoping to have Competitions. Unfortunately not quite as easy as I
was hoping as I wanted to make sure that they are both fun and fair.
- I'am also hoping to get another daily rank going called the Daily Top 5
Skillers
which will be similar to the Daily Top 5 Combat XP where it will basically total
up all
XP for non combat skills. Hopefully this will add a little bit of fun and some extra
competition for all of you Skillers out there.
On a different note - as many of you noticed the problem with RuneScape being down a
coupld of days ago for
several hours, not all high scores were updated. This unfortunately is out of my
control. If you were going for a record and that happens, I wish I could help you out
but again unfortunately I am unable to. If you can do it once, you can do it again. :)

Rune Monkey Update

As many of you have noticed, Rune Monkey has most of it's features back - Daily Rankings,
Progress Tracking, the Daily Top 5 XP, Top 5 Combat and Top Skills, and more.
Hopefully,
if I have enough time and can get it setup, we will have a new unique competition as kind
of a Kick-Off party for the new Rune Monkey starting October 1st. Something fun,
something new - including multiple days and multiple skills. I'll try to get some info
posted about it within the next week - so be checking back soon and be ready to earn a
Rune Monkey Trophy!
Rune Monkey also needs a face-lift. If anyone wants to help out and is skilled in the
art of graphical design (as you probably guessed - graphics are not my strong suit), I'd
love to hear from you and see if you would be willing to help give Rune Monkey a new look
make-over.
I know that some of you are having a hard time getting a hold of me in the game if you
need your Rune Monkey password reset (currently the only way to do it is to contact me in
game and I will do it for you). I will soon be adding a couple of other people who you
can contact that will be able to help reset passwords. Unfortunately it will probably
always be like that and not automated as it helps to verify that people actually have the
same name on Rune Monkey as they do in RuneScape.
One last thing regarding the advertisements on the site. There are currently some that
go against the rules of RuneScape and I don't like it. As a big fan of RuneScape and
wanting to abide by their rules, I hate that people are trying to cheat to get ahead.
Please don't support any of the ads that break the rules of RuneScape (ie. buying RS gold
for real world money). I'm going to try to get those removed. But if you do see other
ads that are of interest to you, please by all means click on them and in doing so, you
will help support Rune Monkey. (Donations are always accepted as well!)

High Scores Progress Update

I've recently updated the Progress Tracking page since it is by far the most used
feature right no - plus I've been wanting to add this feature for a long time. I've
left the old Progress Tracking in place as well so you can choose which one you want
to use. Check it out and Let me know if something
with the new graphs isn't working correctly. Thanks!

High Scores Progress Working Again

I've updated the Progress Tracking feature (and all features that are currently
available) to use the new High Scores "Lite" page for use in Rune Monkey.
A lot of people have been wondering if Rune Monkey is coming back - well the short
answer is that I sure hope so. I've been extremely busy with real life stuff and
haven't even had as much time to play RuneScape as I would like. But I am going to
try to bring back some of the features that made Rune Monkey great over the next
couple of months - no promises but I'll try as time permits.
If you notice something isn't working right that has been over the last several
months before Jagex gave us the High Scores Lite, please let me know. I'm also open
to ideas for making the Progress Tracking
feature better - it's a lot easier to make small updates than it is to do major
development. Please Send me
your ideas!
