Rune Monkey Faq Does Rune Monkey's High Scores system break the RuneScape rules? No. Our High Scores system grabs the high scores from the RuneScape website. It does not, nor will it ever, attempt to log into to your RuneScape account. We strongly encourage you to use a different password than your RuneScape one. Should I tell my friends abour Rune Monkey while playing RuneScape? It is against RuneScape's rules (Rule 11 to advertise a website by giving out a web address in the game. This is in violation of Rule 11 that states: "You are not allowed to actively advertise in the RuneScape game or RuneScape forums. This includes advertising any website or product and no web addresses are allowed. Telling other players any web address is not allowed." Please tell your friends about Rune Monkey but do not use the RuneScape game to do it. How do you know my High Scores? We have developed a system that will retrieve your publicly available High Scores directly from RuneScapes's website. These are the exact same High Scores that you will find when you check the High Scores on RuneScape's website. We do not log into your account to retrieve them. How are you able to see my daily progress? As a member, we store a daily snapshot of your High Scores taken at 12:00AM CST. When you click on the Daily Progress tool, we compare your current High Scores to the previous day's High Scores to provide you with accurate progress. Can I ask a question to a Rune Monkey team member in RuneScape? Rune Monkey team members have been encouraged not to talk about Rune Monkey in the game or RuneScape. We do not want to break any of the RuneScape rules, especially Rune 11 (see above). If you would like to contact Rune Monkey, please contact us through our Contact Form and we will do our best to answer any questions or concernts you might have. |
